Society pt.2

Society and their Foot

Society has held our loved one’s captive for too long. Some of the decisions that they have made were too harsh and very wrong. They have made a people weak that had a sense of being strong.  It has kept its foot on the necks of our loved ones and wouldn’t let them up. Society has drained every drop of the life out of their cup. Now there is no way that some of them can revive themselves, nor do they have insight of how to get up. They have become as helpless as a little pup. Sure they made mistakes; some of them should not be held against them from getting a job to better them. Then they (society) had the ordasity to stand back and criticize them because they did what they had to do to make a living.  Some of the things that they did was not right, or even stupid choices, but what do they expect them to do now, when there is no way of making a living or anything. They will do what ever they have to make it and that is a shame. As a matter of a fact I think that it is cruel and pretty lame. Society took their whole lively-hood; dignity and pride from them.

The Bible says ‘Let Him that is without spot or blemish cast the first stone’. No one is perfect; yet we are so quick to condemn, or look down on others too easily. Until we have walked a mile or two in someone else’s shoes we should think twice before we make judgments’. The sad thing is; when it hit’s home and is one of their (society) family member’s that has done the same thing or worse they try to conceal it. We all know that there is something definitely wrong with that picture.

That is why we should never look down on anyone unless we’re looking down at them to offer a helping hand, or to help them to get up. We should have a heart; put ourselves in their shoe’s and try to understand where they’re coming from, and at least offer them a better opportunity, suggestion, or anything to give them a sense of hope.

Two wrongs don’t make a right. There is no need to argue fuss or fight. Things should be done differently to help give a better perspective, a sense of hope or some kind of meaningful insight. It may or may not be too late to change things; the question is; what are you willing to do about it? Don’t whine about the economy; they messed up and made a mistake so did you (Society), what are you going to do about it. It’s almost never too late to right a wrong.

 Barbara

I have just finished reading your book with a box of tissues beside me.  I must say that although I have had some bad relationships in my life, I really felt your pain to be greater and women everywhere should be thankful that you have shared your personal experiences with them.  This took a tremendous amount of courage on your part to tell your story and open your heart in such a way.  I believe that your book serves as a beacon of hope to all women who believe that their situation is unique and feel that they are completely alone and in a helpless situation.  May you be blessed with a brighter today and tomorrow, as a result of your efforts and courage to speak up and discuss a topic that is so often kept concealed and hidden from the world.

I thank you for sharing your life’s journey with me.  I can see now why you would want to take a break from men.  I do wish that you don’t give up on finding Mr. Right as there are still so many good men out there and God knows you deserve the love of a good man just as we all do.

“It Ain’t Over Til God Says’ It’s Over

You may look down on me.
You may even critize me.
You may scandalize my name.
I will still expect my claim to success and fame.
You may act as if hurting my feelings is a game.
You may do all that you can to make me shame.
You may commit acts and try to make me the blame.
I will hold on to my dignity just the same.
Reaching the high calling of God, is what I aim.
I don’t have to act like a wild animal, I’m tame.
I will try to stay focused, my plan is to leave the same way or better than I came.
"It ain’t over til God says that it’s over"

Believe in yourself

Believe in yourself
Sometimes we have to believe in ourselves.
Many will settle for us to stay hidden on a shelf.
We have to step out in faith, in order for the race to be run.
It may not be a game, nor a whole lot of fun.
Atleast! The battle will have begun.
We will be proud of ourselves, knowing that we’ve done all that we can do.
What a glorious day when our lives seem more sunny and blue.
Man will let us down, but God will be there for you.
Never give up on you, your hopes and dreams, so get a clue.
This is merely a kind word from me to you.
Will you knock me down, or will you stand for me too?
