‘Put a smile on your face‘
Put a smile on that beautiful face. Hold you head up high; walk with dignity, style and grace. Always remember that you’re worthy of being classified as an ace. Hold on to God’s unchanging hand; he’ll be your anchor and your brace. If you forgot this; I’m here to remind you just in case. If you know this you have made it to first base. No matter what obsticle’s my come your way, know that my prayer’s are here to help you run the race. Don’t slow down; keep up the pace. Always keep a smile on your face.
‘Oprah Help Move These Mountains’
I’ve tried to contact you for about a year. I’m hoping that these word’s will reach your ear. If so, you will hear me from where ever you are; sending out a loud cheer. I have a story to tell; I need your help, I want to make that very clear. I’m trying to get people to see that even though I may not look like much; I’m special and unique and that nothing is ever alway’s the way it may appear.
I’m the author of two books ‘The Lives of Abused and Battered Women‘ published through Infinity Publishing in August; for a sneak preview go to buybooksontheweb.com. I put my abusive life style as well as that of other women out there in order to be a blessing to other women (men). My second book ‘Heart-Boosting Poetry‘ published in November, 2007 through Publish America.com; consisting of spiritual poems, love, the loss of a loved one-whether it be due to a death or a break up, friendship, and a couple of poem’s in rememberance of mother. My purpose is to reach out and touch the many people all over the universe that are in need of a blessing and kind word of hope, to help them to regain their sense of self respect, esteem, and self love. I know that with your unique credibility; we can truly move those mountain’ s that may be too hard to climb for the needed people .
‘Society and their Foot‘
Society has held our loved one’s captive for too long. It has kept it’s foot on the neck’s of our loved ones and wouldn’t let them up. Sure they made mistakes; some of them should not be held against them from getting a job to better themselves. Then they have the ordasity to stand back and criticize them because they did what they had to do to make a living. Some of the things that they did was not right, or even stupid choice’s, but what did they expect. Society took their whole lively-hood; dignity and pride from them.
The Bible says ‘Let Him that is without spot or blimish cast the first stone’. No one is perfect; yet we are so quick to condem, or look down on others too easily. Until we have walked a mile or two in some’s shoe’s we should think twice before we make judgement’s. The sad thing is; when it hit’s home and is one of their (society) family member’s that has done the same thing or worse they try to conceal it. We all know that there is something definitly wrong with that picture.
That is why we should never look down on anyone unless we’re looking down at them to offer a helping hand, or to help them to get up. We should have a heart; put ourselve’s in their shoe’s and try to understand where they’re coming from, and atleast offer them a better opportunity, suggestion, or anything to give them a sense of hope.
Two wrongs don’t make a right. It may or may not be too late to change thing’s; the question is; what are you willing to do about it? Don’t whine about the economy; they messed up and made a mistake so did you (Society), what are you going to do about it. It’s almost never too late to right a wrong.
‘To the Abused and Battered Woman‘
Two Heart’s that beat’s as One
To the abused and the battered woman; together our heart’s beat as one. Please know that no matter what the situation look’s like; the battle is long from being won. I know the pain and heart-ache that you feel; I know that it isn’t a game nor is it fun. I truly know that your heart feel as though it weigh’s a ton. Never give up on you; or loose your self respect or esteem. I don’t know why these things have to happen, but I do know that God is the author and the finisher and when he say’s enough, the battle will be finished and marked done. You will no longer feel the need to hide or run.
‘Today is Going to be a Good Day‘
I can feel in my spirit that today is going to be a magnificient and good day.
No matter what obsticles that old devil throw’s at me; I know that everything is going to go my way.
No more worrying about those obnoxious people, and the games that they play.
They will be held account for the harsh words that they say.
The sun will shine again, even if the sky start’s to turn gray.
They fail to realize that if you do the crime; you will surely have to pay.
As for me I’m enjoying the glorious sun ray.
Today is going to be a good day.
